Introduction
After a long search, I finally found a dedicated workshop space in Gland for SwissPinball.
This workshop now serves as my repair center, restoration area, electronics bench, and storage space for restoration projects and machines awaiting service.
The goal was simple: To create a real working pinball workshop focused on high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and restorations.
BEFORE THE WORKSHOP
The empty shell
When I first took possession of the workshop, the space was completely empty.
- no workbenches
- no machines
- no electronics stations
- no storage systems
Just an empty shell waiting to become the future home of SwissPinball.
BUILDING THE WORKSHOP
Creating the Repair Space
Over time, the workshop was transformed into a dedicated pinball repair and restoration space.
The workshop now includes:
- Electronics repair bench
- Oscilloscope and test equipment
- EPROM programming station
- Pinball machine repair area
- Parts storage and organization
- Restoration workspace
- Ultrasonic cleaning equipment

Board-Level Diagnostics & Repair
SwissPinball also has a dedicated electronics lab for board-level diagnostics and repair.
Equipped with soldering and desoldering stations, oscilloscope, variable AC/DC power supplies, EPROM programmer and logic test tools, the lab allows MPU, driver, power and display boards to be tested and repaired at component level.
This is where burned connectors, failed transistors, power faults and more complex electronic issues are diagnosed properly — not simply replaced.
